Russell Crowe as Robin Hood just does not work for me. I don’t know why exactly, but it almost feels like “Gladiator” set during a slightly later time period.
Hopefully, this film is better than the Kevin Costner version from back in the 90′s – Prince of Thieves. I didn’t like that one. The original Errol Flynn version, The Adventures of Robin Hood(1938), is still the one to beat.
