Sorry about missing the “On Video” post for this week, but the Oscar nomination announcement and site updates kind of took over that day!
So let’s kill two birds with one stone!
On video this week are Zombieland, Love Happens, Amelia, and The House of the Devil. Zombieland looks like it could be a fun twist on the zombie flick genre. Whatever you do, stay away from Amelia!
In theatres this week are Dear John (having to type that on my site just made me puke), From Paris With Love, Frozen and I Love You Phillip Morris (limited). If you like sappy-over-the-top-cookie-cutter chick flicks then… rent Steel Magnolias for God’s sake!! Dear John just looks ridiculous. If you want a shoot-’em-up action flick then From Paris… might be something you enjoy. However, I would save my money for next week when Wolfman comes out!!

Wolfman actually looks really well done… if Crazy Heart isn’t in the theaters here yet I will be seeing that… oh wait… it’s Valentine’s weekend… shoot… looks like I’ll have to see that new Valentine’s Day movie with like 20 different actors in it…
I will definitely be seeing The Wolfman! Let’s hope it is as good as it looks. Great cast!
