    Congrats!!!
Thanks to Bianca for putting this together! I hope everyone enjoyed playing along.

  2. Thomas Quang says:

Thank you Bianca for organizing this!!! Job well done! And congrats to Judy for winning the First Annual Award Contenders Oscar contest and for stealing my Hurt Locker DVD ! Great predictions!

Damn that foreign language film category! That’s two years in a row now the foreign language category produced an upset. Had I done my homework more in this category, I would have seen Entertainment Weekly’s predictions. They predicted an upset win for A Secret in Their Eyes. My choice was The White Ribbon. I have a feeling that this category is going to cost me my other Oscar contest I joined as well, as it was the tie-breaker category.

Oh well, now I got to go out and buy my copy of the Best Picture of 2009 instead of getting a freebee. The question is, “Do I buy it now or should I wait for a special collector’s edition to come out complete with bells & whistles?”

  3. Bianca says:

I had fun setting this up and seeing the varing choices. I execpt us to add more ativities to increase reader participation and just have fun! Free stuff is always fun, right?

Thomas – you did really well. I’d say you had a really good night! Thanks as always for visiting the site!
Who’s ready for the 2010 race?

  4. Bradley Badder says:

Yeah! Well Done, Good Quiz…a Shocker for me was ‘UP IN THE AIR’ not winning Adapted Screenplay.

  5. Mark Johnson says:

    I am Bianca!! Let’s hope it’s a great year!!

Bradley – Yeah, that was the biggest upset of the night no doubt!

Thomas – There’s always next year, right?
